After celebrating our daughter’s 21st the night before the last thing you need is to go off “twitching”. After a message from Mark G saying,  “Killder in Lancashire”.Could only raise Steve B and I picked him up in double quick time as I knew he had’nt seen this species in this country before. They only seem to occur when I have a hangover (New Year’s Day on Anglesey) We reached Longridge and after a hurried bit of parking,  had five minutes with the bird before it took flight. Then apart from a brief appearance the day after was gone forever. It could have been the same bird as seen by the same finder in Ireland and Lancashire. What are the chances of that happening?

Regards,

Dave O
